I was born in Providence, RI and grew up in Toms River, NJ. My parents are Andy and Meg Braica. Andy is on the net his email is andy@braica.com. I have two brothers, Robert of Toms River, and Paul of Boca Raton, FL. Robert Braica a.k.a. 'VEGAS' is a well known character in the Toms River area. I graduated from Toms River High School North in 1979. After high school I attended Seton Hall University from 1979-83. I was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity (NJ Gamma).

I hold a "Technicians Class" Amateur Radio License. My FCC callsign is KB2WST. I operate @ 50 watts of power on 2-Meters (VHF). Station KB2WST has an effective range of 50 miles from the Union, NJ location. I occasionally make contacts through the Green Brook, Cherryville, and Staten Island VHF repeaters. I monitor the VHF frequency for contact with the MIR SPACE STATION and on September 11, 1997 at 8:00 am EST I heard my first Russian signal! Station KB2WST has 2-Meter packet capability at 1200 baud.

I enjoy working on anything with a motor. I used to do a lot of motorcycling. My biker friend Mike Simon and I won a trophy at a Poker Run in Virginia (longest distance traveled- NJ to VA).

Better not take a dog on the space shuttle, because if he sticks his head out when you're coming home his face might burn up.
One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Great Adventure, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Great Adventure burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Great Adventure, but it was getting pretty late.
Probably the earliest fly swatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.
I hope if dogs ever take over the world, and they choose a king, they don't just go by size, because I bet there are some Chihuahuas with some good ideas.
